Moves Options

I have been thinking about this for some time. What should be our default moves option when escorting the clergy? Should we be allowed to use extreme force if we are attcked or should we be required to spare our opponent's life?

Unfortunately, I waited until I was on the road escorting my Parish Priestess before asking this question!

(I think everyone should be allowed to sound off on this one. That's why it's in the OOC area.)

I think we shouldn't kill the opponent (lol) although I would love to kill some guys out there (lol).

The question is not only the sin, but that violence brings violence, and we are a defensive group, not an agressibve one. So, sparing the life is the best option for a religious knight that follows the chivalry code.

I tend to agree. I thought it would be prudent to spare my opponent's life if possible, so that is my current posture.

There is no mention of it in the Mythos. However, some of the prayers currently under consideration seem to indicate that the lethal force is sometimes necessary.

I would like to get Syounger's opinion on this when he returns.
